I was in the nursery with James at church this morning. He was playing with a puffy book and kinda squatting near me. All of a sudden, he STOOD UP! with nothing around him, not holding on to anything, just stood straight up. He's never done this before, but he was confident and steady. I was shocked! He stood there for a couple seconds and then plopped down and smiled at me. What an awesome kid God gave me. 9 and a half months and he can stand up by himself.
Tomorrow we go back to Austin. The cath comes out. yay!!! Hopefully that will help him feel better.
I would have loved to see the expression on his face when he realized he was up. Probably wondered what he should and decided to plop and relish the moment. It's just the beginning so get ready.
